Meas Samel and his family are clients of VisionFund Cambodia HIV Supportive Rate. Four years ago, VisionFund granted Meas a small loan. They were the only MFI willing to lend to Meas, who is HIV positive. Before the loan, he was making $1.50 per day selling vegetables and fishing. His health was very poor and he could not afford healthcare, his house was uninhabitable when it rained, and he could not afford to send his son to school on a regular basis. Watch the video to learn how he has changed his and his family’s life through microfinance.
